Hello folks,
I’m a longtime resident of Normal Heights (40+ years) and very concerned about the ongoing assault on America’s democratic systems.
We may not agree about every issue (I hope we don’t) but I hope we can agree that as citizens and human beings we have certain “inalienable” rights, which means rights that cannot be withheld.
This Bulletin Board is a potentially powerful space where we can talk about the challenges that we all face and how we can organize to confront them. I look forward to this discussion.

Thank you for joining and posting. My google maps indicates you are in the 52nd district, Juan Vargas. So am I. It seems that Juan has a very good chance of reelection. I will try to help him some, but, district 48, to our east, has a Republican. And one whose behavior I strongly dislike. I suspect the best thing I can do is work ing getting a democrat elected there. Please take a look at my post in the California Politics section. And maybe my web site. There are only about 3 registered users so far, but I am working on it.
