Bryan's Political Board

Introductions
Critical: Please send an email so we will know you are not a spam registrant. We get ten or more spam registrations every day. Send to bboard at mbkelly dot net. Put the word register in the subject line and tell us who you are. Something about you and who you are is important. There is a broad fuzzy line but if there were no anonymous messages, the tone would get much better.
Thank you.

H-P-O-D Help Preserve Our Democracy
Let's organize as a committee to help preserve democracy. Our democracy is in serious danger. We need to work together to preserve it.

The goal is to go big, much bigger than one person, even one club.

This begins as a suggestion to our local club. Maybe we can start here, get organized, then begin to work with other democratic clubs. First in Southern California, then maybe all of California and other clubs and organizations across the county.

Politics for Federal and Other States
This forum is for politics at the federal level and states outside of California. DJT is out to destroy democracy. What might we do to protect democracy?

Citizens United
This forum is about overturning Citizens United.
The SCOTUS decision Citizens United is not based on the Constitution. It is not based upon any law passed by Congress or by the legislatures of any of the states. Because of this, SCOTUS did not and does not have authority to make that ruling.

CA State Politics
This forum is for politics at the state level. It includes the state senate and assembly, possible law suggestions, and other topics related to the state of California.

Protests and Marches
This will be used to organize and discuss protests and marches. If there is sufficient interest separate forums can be created of specific areas.

CA48
This is for the California Congressional House district 48. It is current represented by a Republican. This forum is for conversations and planning for protests and to elect a new Democrat representative.

CA52
This is for California Congressional district 52. It is currently represented by Juan Vargas.

CA 48 Candidates
This is to list and discuss the candiates for the CA 48th district.

Postcards and Letters
Sending postcards and letters to all elected government officials may be one of the better ways to ensure our representatives are aware of what their constituents need. Please visit here, write about your postcards and letters, and join in with others to amplify their messages.

Romper Room
Rant, rave, get a load off your chest. Ask wierd questions. But always be respectful.

New Rules
Suggestions and discussions of new laws and rules that might be created. Federal, state, and local government.
