Letters to SCOTUS

Post by Bryan »

Recent rulings from the Supreme Court are extremely worrying. The executive branch is headed by an outright dictator. If that were not bad enough, he has almost complete control over the majority party in Congress. Making it even worse, he has far more influence over the Supreme Court. Here is a letter sent to the six conservatives of the Court. (with appropriate changes to each justice)

Please comment and maybe write your own letters.

Chief Justice John Roberts
Supreme Court
1 First St NE
Washington DC, 20543

Justice Roberts,
Justice Jackson recently said “The state of our democracy” keeps me up at night. That reply was not expected, but not surprising.

The Executive branch is led by an outright dictator. One who believes that Article II grants him the power to literally do anything he wants. And who behaves accordingly. A dictator who now has control over Congress. Two of the three branches that were designed to balance and contradict unrestrained power.

A dictator who now has far more control over the Supreme Court and the entire justice system than he should. Far more than the founders had in mind. Control over all three branches of government. Control that you, personally, are giving him. As a result, you and your fellow members of the Court will decide if democracy continues, or perishes.

These are not just idle words. Your personal decisions now play a huge role in the future of democracy. Your decisions and Your rulings describe to the country, and to the world, what you want in a government. In the next few years, and maybe the next few months, YOU will decide our future.

Extremely Sincerely,
