Letters to elected Republicans

Our democracy is in existential danger. The Republicans have a slim majority. Slim, but incredibly important. Their allegiance to Trump is a huge problem, but their majority might be broken. Below is the text of a letter sent to my daughter who lives in a red state. Her congressional representatives are Republican. The chances of her senator or representative changing their position is slim. BUT, we only need a few changes to make a huge difference. If you have Republican representatives, please consider sending this letter to them. If you know of someone who does, please send this to them.
This particular letter is for North Carolina. Obviously, change the name and address and add your signature. The text is just below. I tried to attach the Microsoft Word document, but that is not allowed. Hopefully the text will be helpful.
Oh, when sending letters to my representatives, it is sent to each and every office they have. I suspect most of the staff just throw the letters in the trash. But one of them might actually read it and give it to my elected representative, so it is sent to all.

Representative Pat Harrigan
1233 Longworth House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515

Representative Harrigan,

I am a United States citizen, and your constituent.
You do know, in your heart, that Trump wants to be a dictator. You know he wants to destroy our democracy.
You do know, to some degree, each time you support him, we damage our democracy. To some degree.
I write we, because each time you vote, or take any action, you represent me.
You do know, each time you do not stand up to him, we damage our democracy.
I now respectfully ask you, please, act to preserve our democracy. Stand up to Trump. Vote for democracy. Because for each opportunity in which you do not stand up, we damage our democracy.
Extremely Sincerely,
