There has been much talk about the military and illegal orders. In summary, the video with Senator Kelly about unlawful orders is exactly right. Every member of the military is required, not just allowed, but required to reject unlawful orders. The military shooting and killing suspected drug runners violated both the constitution and the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). Just in case, the UCMJ is kind of like the constitution of the U.S. written explicitly for the military. For this reason and many more, the JCS (Joint Chiefs of Staff, the eight most senior members who accept orders from the Secretary of Defense, Hegseth, and implement them) has been accepting illegal orders from Trump and Hegseth. Their doing this exposes us to the probability extreme danger. With Trump planning to send the military into U.S. cities, the magnitude of this problem cannot be overstated. It will be Trump and the military turning the country into a police or military state. Very much like Hitler and his Gestapo and his SS.
