A large percentage of people who support donnyBoy are people who like and sing the song “Take This Job and Shove it” by Johnny Paycheck, somewhere around 1976. I did not like the words when I heard it back then, and still don’t.
The people who like that song tend to have some common characteristics. They will not do anything to make themselves more employable. They will not attend trade schools or collage. If they sing it, they are not quitting their jobs and getting better ones. They are just complaining. They are people who won’t actually DO anything to improve their life.
But they want to sing words like that. And they want to listen to people who say words like that. Like donnyBoy, who simply and blatantly lies about pretty much everything. They want to stand up, shake their fists, express their anger, but not DO anything about it.
They are partially wrong about donnyBoy. donnyBoy makes things worse. So these people continue to praise him, shake their fists, and sing louder.
